Coachella 2012: Playlist [MUSIC]

Ah! Coachella 2012, everyone's favorite three-day festival, is back for another round April in Indio, CA. As is the problem with so many big festivals, time managment is key. Often it's hard to figure out where to go and what to watch. There are many a talented name on the list this year, including the neo-indie likes' of Yuck, the serene rock style of Real Estate and Oberhofer, as well as legacy acts such as Pulp, Refused, headliners like Radiohead and Neutral Milk Hotel, this is definitely a 'something for everyone' type-situation. So if you got some time to kill you may want to consider some the acts below.

The lineup is WAY to expansive to include everything, so here is an offering of names you may have heard of and never actually heard, or heard and dont actually know of, or seen and still never heard of...Enjoy.

The Twelves Remix Everybody [MUSIC]

Brazilian DJ Duo, Joao Miguel & Luciano Oliveira--The Twelves, are not named for an obscure Mayan prophecy, rather the strange coincidence that has to do with their birthdays falling on the same day of the same year. But then again, it very well could be an ancient prediction that they would remix the #$&! out of nearly anything they could get their hands on. Cause they have done exactly that.

Featured on their remix album are 80's favorite A-Ha, along with Daft Punk, Groove Armada, Radiohead and Fleet Foxes. Also making an appearence are the Brits: Metric & Black Kids. The list goes on, but let's just skip straight to the music.

Radiohead - There There (The Twelves Remix)
Radiohead - Reckoner (The Twelves Remix)

The Virgins - Rich Girls (The Twelves Remix)
Fleet Foxes - White Winter Hymnal (The Twelves Remix)
Black Kids - I'm Not Going To Teach Your Boyfriend How To Dance With Me (The Twelves Remix)
Metric - Help I'm Alive (The Twelves Remix)

Radiohead Hits The Road - 2012 Tour

If you were one of the unlucky ones [like me] who got locked out of their most recent two-day stint at Roseland Ballroom back in September, I empathize with you...

But look!

On the horizon hope lingers! Radiohead has just announced their largest tour since 2008, with dates and cities [and countries] spanning 10 months beginning in February 2012. No mention yet of a return to NY, but I imagine its still a possibility [especially given the rumor that they were supposed to play Occupy Wall St]..

The band has been recently promoting their highly enjoyable and totally necessary remix album of The King Of Limbs and we can expect that their will be some interesting live renditions with all that time spent on the road.

Tickets go on sale beginning Nov. 12 (excepting the Feb. 29 date in Tampa, FL, which will go on sale Nov. 19), with a four-ticket limit per person. The W.A.S.T.E. fan presale will begin Nov. 9 [today].

Don't blame Ticketmaster if for any issues...They can go to hell!
